 Tour Summary:

10:00 am: Purple Tea Farm Tour

11:00 am: Waterfall Trek and Swimming

ITINERARY:

Our representative will pick you up from your City Center hotel/residence and take a 1.5-hour drive to Gatura Greens Tea Farm where this adventure begins with tea and fresh scones while the host gives an informal history about the farm.

Begin the tour by walking through the Tea Farm where you learn more about the history of Purple Tea, and how it’s grown till when it’s harvested, you are also taught how to pick tea and get a chance to pick some on your own. This tea you have picked will then be taken back to the farm where you will be taught how to make your own specialty orthodox tea( this includes learning to roast it, roll it by hand, dry it, and then pack it for yourself to take home)

After making your own hand-picked and rolled purple tea, you will head to the waterfall trek, through a beautiful bamboo forest, finishing off with a refreshing dip at the waterfall by the farm.

You will then return to the farmhouse for a farm-fresh 3-course meal, crowning the day with a bonfire in the gardens while relaxing. After Lunch, you will be treated to an expansive tea tasting of all the delicious variants made at the cottage tea factory.

 THINGS TO NOTE:

• Dress code:* As you will be taking a short trek down the farm to the waterfall, kindly wear comfortable sneakers with a decent grip.
• Feel free to bring on a bottle of your favorite drink (Wine, Beer, etc) should you wish to have some during lunch while relaxing at the farm.
• Weekday tours require a minimum of 6 pax per group to hold the tour

What to carry:

1. Long pants for the tea-picking
2. Swimsuit & Towel (*Please note the Fall force is very strong during the rainy season and swimming may not be possible during the rainy season*)
3. Change of clothing
4. Warm sweater in case it gets chilly later in the afternoon
5. Sunscreen
6. Hat

After a wonderful tour transfer back to your hotel or residence.
