Ngare Ndare Forest is an indigenous forest located at the foothills of Mount Kenya.

Description:
The forest is home to over 200 species of birds, including migratory birds. The forest has six natural blue pools and waterfalls hidden in the middle of the forest where visitors can swim. The forest also has a 450-meter-long bridge suspended 30 feet above the ground, called the Tree Canopy Walk.

 

 ITINERARY 

Pick up from Nanyuki town at 8:00a.m and have a one-hour drive to Ngare Ndare Indigenous Forest Park located at the foothills of Mt. Kenya. Upon arrival and after a smooth pass, get into the forest park and you can begin your canopy walk which is 450 meters long and 30 feet high where plenty of bird life is.

More than 200 species of birds have been recorded as well as migratory birds. After you are done with the canopy walk and bird watching, you can now get into the azure natural pool to swim and spend the rest of the afternoon swimming.

After, board the van and drive back to Nanyuki town, Upon arrival, drop off at your Nanyuki residence within the town or Nanyuki town.
