Get the chance to have a one-on-one tour with the Last two female northern white Rhinos in the world at Ol Pejeta Conservancy. It also boasts the largest black rhino sanctuary in East Africa and is host to the “Big Five game” among a large selection of other African animals, which makes it a popular safari destination. 

Ol Pejeta Conservancy is a 364 sq km wildlife conservancy between the foothills of Mount Kenya and the Aberdare. Its game-to-area ratio tops the Kenyan park and reserve league. The Ol Pejeta Conservancy in Kenya has over 10000 large mammals and it is the only park where the big 5 and chimpanzees can be seen.

SUMMARY

Meet up at the Morani Information Centre where the one-hour tour begins. Learn more about the white rhinos how they became endangered and the plan to save them. Unfortunately, Suni and Sudan died in October 2014 due to a natural cause issue and in March 2018 due to old age respectively. After the brief about the Rhino, you will be led by the ranger to go meet the two remaining female Rhino in the world Najin and the daughter Fatu. After the tour, drop off at your lodge/ Camp Inside the Conservancy.

 

This activity is available daily from the Morani Information Centre at 8:30 am, 11:00 am, 3:00 pm, and 4:30 pm
