The name “Amboseli” comes from a Maasai word meaning “salty dust”, and it is one of the best places in Africa to view large herds of elephants up close. Tour Summary:

6:00 am: Pick up from your city hotel or residence in Nairobi.

6:30 am: Depart for the Amboseli National Park.

9:00 am: Begin your game viewing drive looking for the big elephant herds.

1:00 pm: Enjoy sumptuous lunch at a park hotel.

2:30 pm: Head out with a game viewing drive.

4:00 pm: Leave the Park and enjoy a Maasai Cultural Tour. Drive back to the City.

6:30 pm: Drop-off at the City Center or City Hotel.
