A 3 days safari visiting Samburu (2 night). An extraordinary park as well as they are home to the Special 5 animals. With this itinerary, we can show much more from Kenya wildlife and landscapes.
ITINERARY
Day 1: Nairobi – Samburu.
Pick up from the Airport/ Nairobi Residence, we depart to Samburu Game Reserve for an afternoon game drive. Samburu Game Reserve stands as one of the most beautiful Kenya Parks in Northern Circuit. It holds the most indigenous wildlife as well as the home of African Elephants and beautiful species of Zebras and the Masai Giraffes.
Day 2: Full Day at Samburu National Reserve.
The whole day will be spent exploring this amazing game reserve, it gives you the refreshment of your mind as the park is not populated and not many people visit here. It’s home to the big five (Elephant, Lion, Rhino, Leopard, Buffalo) as well as Gerenuk, Reticulated Giraffe, Somali Ostrich, Gravy Zebra, Besia Oryx, Endangered Wild Dog as well as Pun cake Tortoise – Endangered. There are over 450 species of birds identified and aquatic species in the Waso Nyiro River including, vultures, kingfishers, marabous, bateleurs, guinea fowl, Somali ostriches and others.
Day 3 : Samburu – Nairobi
Wake up to the sights, sounds and smells of the African bush this morning. Have breakfast and check out of the lodge. Have an enroute game as you head out of the park. Stopover at the Samburu Village for a 1 hour village tour. Learn the and learn the Samburu culture. Continue with the drive and stop over in Nanyuki town for Lunch. Upon arrival in Nairobi, drop off at your city hotel/ Airport.
