DETAILED ITINERARY
Day 1: Nairobi – Maasai Mara
Pick-up from your residence in Nairobi or from the airport upon arrival. Depart in a 4×4 safari Jeep for the world-renowned Maasai Mara National Reserve. Enjoy a scenic drive with a stop at the Great Rift Valley escarpment for breathtaking views and photography. Arrive at your lodge in time for check-in and lunch. Spend the afternoon at leisure, relaxing and enjoying the lodge amenities. Later in the evening, embark on your first game drive, where you may spot wildlife such as zebras, antelopes, giraffes, elephants, and lions. Return to the lodge at sunset for dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 2: Maasai Mara- Full Day Game Drive
After an early breakfast, set out for a full-day game viewing experience in the Maasai Mara National Reserve. Track a wide range of wildlife, including lions, leopards, elephants, buffalo, and more. Visit the banks of the Mara River, famous for its crocodiles, hippos, and dramatic wildebeest migration crossings (seasonal). Enjoy a picnic lunch in the wild, followed by a photo session near the Kenya–Tanzania border, overlooking the Serengeti National Park. Continue with game viewing before returning to the lodge in the late afternoon. Spend the evening at leisure. Dinner and overnight at the lodge.
Day 3: Maasai Mara – Nairobi
Enjoy a relaxed breakfast at the lodge before check-out. Depart the Maasai Mara National Reserve with an en-route game drive, offering a final chance to spot wildlife in their natural habitat. After exiting the reserve, visit a traditional Maasai Village for an enriching one-hour cultural experience, where you’ll learn about the Maasai community’s traditions, lifestyle, and heritage. Thereafter, begin your scenic drive back to Nairobi, arriving in the afternoon. You will be dropped off at the airport or your Nairobi hotel, marking the end of your safari and onward travel plans.
