DETAILED ITINERARY
Day One: Nairobi – Maasai Mara
Begin your journey early in the morning with a 6:00 a.m. departure from Nairobi for a scenic 5-hour drive to the Maasai Mara. Along the way, descend through the breathtaking Great Rift Valley escarpments, with a brief stopover at a panoramic viewpoint for a memorable photo session. Continue your drive to the reserve, arriving at your lodge in time for check-in and a delicious lunch. Afterward, enjoy a leisurely afternoon at the lodge—take in the serene surroundings, unwind, and connect with nature.
At around 3:00 p.m., set out for an exciting evening game drive in search of the iconic Big Five and other wildlife across the vast savannah. As the sun begins to set, enjoy the stunning golden hues of the Mara while making your way back to the lodge. Return to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.
Day Two: Maasai Mara – Nairobi
Early in the morning, after breakfast, you will check out from your hotel and set off on a scenic drive through the vast savannah plains of the Maasai Mara. Enjoy the beautiful landscapes as you head into the reserve for a full day of exciting game viewing.
During your game drives, you will visit the Mara River, one of the most iconic locations in the reserve, where you may spot crocodiles basking along the banks and families of hippos in the water. Take some time to stretch your legs and enjoy the surroundings while observing the wildlife.
At midday, you will break for lunch at a camp within the reserve, offering a chance to relax before continuing with your afternoon game drive. Explore more of the park as you make your way toward the exit, concluding your safari experience at around 4:00 PM. You will then visit a local Maasai village for an hour of cultural interaction, where you can learn about their traditions, lifestyle, and heritage. After the visit, depart for Nairobi at approximately 5:00 PM, arriving at your residence around 9:00 PM, marking the end of a memorable safari adventure.
