Tsavo East National Park is one of the oldest parks in Kenya, located South East of Kenya near the Town of Voi in the Taita-Taveta District of Coast Province, inland from the Coast, it is 13,747 sq.km. The slightly larger Tsavo East is generally flat, with dry plains across which the Galana River flows. Other features include the Yatta Plateau and Lugard Falls.

Tour Summary:

5:45 am: Pick up at your Diani Beach hotel

6:00 am: Depart for the Tsavo East National Park.

9:00 am: Begin your game viewing drive in search of Big game

1:00 pm: Enjoy a sumptuous lunch at a park hotel.

2:30 pm: Head out with a game viewing drive.

4:00 pm: Leave the Park and drive back to the Coastal City.

6:30 pm: Drop off at your hotel

Estimated Tour Time: 12 hours.

Departure Location: Mombasa Hotel / Residence.

Depart Diani at 520 am and head to Tsavo National Park. It’s advisable to carry a packed breakfast You will have an opportunity to watch the sunrise on your drive toward Tsavo East. Arrive at Tsavo East Gate and after a brief stop begin your game-viewing drive. The park is popular mostly due to the diverse wildlife that can be seen, including the famous ‘big five’ consisting of lion, black rhino, Cape buffalo, elephant, and leopard. The park is also home to a great variety of bird life. You will take amazing photos of wildlife and plains.

Drive to a Park hotel for lunch and swimming after an exciting morning safari. Mid-afternoon continue with the game drive as you head out of the park and to Mombasa. On arrival transfer to your hotel.
