Tsavo East National Park is one of the oldest parks in Kenya, located Southeast of Kenya near the town of Voi in the Taita-Taveta District of Coast Province. Inland from the Coast, it spans 13,747 sq.km. The slightly larger Tsavo East is generally flat, with dry plains across which the Galana River flows. Other features include the Yatta Plateau and Lugard Falls.

DETAILED ITINERARY:
Depart Malindi early morning and head to Tsavo East National Park. It’s advisable to carry a packed breakfast as you will be picked up at 5:30 am. You will have an opportunity to watch the sunrise on your drive. Arrive at Tsavo East Gate, and after a brief stop, begin your game-viewing drive. The park is popular for its diverse wildlife, including the famous ‘Big Five’—lion, black rhino, Cape buffalo, elephant, and leopard. The park is also home to a great variety of birdlife. You will capture amazing photos of wildlife and the vast plains.
Drive to a park hotel for lunch and swimming after an exciting morning safari. In the mid-afternoon, continue with your game drive as you head out of the park and back to Malindi. On arrival, you will be transferred back to your hotel.
