DETAILED ITINERARY
Enjoy a morning game-viewing drive at the Nairobi National Park; Wide open grass plains and backdrop of the city scrapper, scattered acacia bush play host to a wide variety of wildlife including the endangered black rhino, lions, leopards, cheetahs, hyenas, buffaloes, giraffes, and a diverse birdlife with over 400 species recorded.
This magical experience will leave you with incredible memories of the African Safari. We will also drive to the Ivory burning site and a couple of stops to capture the perfect moments.
After the morning game drive, we head to Ololo Safari Lodge for lunch and a farm tour. This is a beautiful boutique safari lodge on the edge of Nairobi National Park that offers the comfort and warmth of a home with effortless style and personalized service. It is perfectly situated on the beautiful banks of the Mbagathi River which forms the southern border of the Nairobi National Park.
Enjoy a delicious `paddock to plate” lunch prepared from the freshest ingredients from the farm lodge as you enjoy breathtaking views of the park, and wildlife to the famed Ngong Hills in the West.
After lunch, take a moment to tour around the Ololo farm that produces the freshest fruit, vegetables, milk, eggs, and meat for the restaurant, ‘The Kitchen at Ololo’. You are encouraged to visit the vegetable gardens, mushroom houses, chicken and duck runs and even to help milk cows, to learn about and appreciate Ololo’s ‘Paddock to Plate’ philosophy.
After this incredible tour, we do an evening game drive, looking for animals not previously seen, as we head out of the park.
