Day Four: Akagera National Park to the Volcanoes National Park
Day Five: Gorilla Trekking at the Volcanoes National Park.

ITINERARY
Day One: Arrive at the Kigali International Airport
Karibu Rwanda. On this beautiful day, Arrive at the Kigali International Airport. After a briefing from our guide, you will head to your Kigali Hotel for check-in. Spend the rest of the day relaxing and enjoying the hotel facilities. Overnight at your hotel.
Day Two: Kigali City Tour – Akagera National Park
After an early morning breakfast, pick-up from your city hotel then engage in a Kigali City Tour. Visit the Kigali Genocide Memorial Site and Museum to learn more about the 1994 genocide era, the Nyamata Genocide Church and local markets. Later, drive to the Akagera National Park with a stopover for Lunch. On arrival, get transferred to your Lodge and check in. Spend the afternoon relaxing and enjoying the lodge facilities. Dinner and overnight at the lodge.
Day Three: Akagera National Park
After breakfast, we have a morning game drive, with packed lunch provided. The Park is home to wildlife species which are not found anywhere else in Rwanda. Here, search for Elephants, Zebras, Giraffes, Buffaloes, Water bucks, Bush bucks and the recently introduced Lions. Return to your Lodge for Lunch and relaxation. Set out for a boat ride on Lake Ihema in search for Hippos and Crocodiles as well as other game on the river banks. Dinner and overnight at your Lodge.
Day Four: Akagera National Park – Volcanoes National Park
After an early Morning breakfast, drive to the Volcanoes National Park which is home to the endangered Mountain Gorillas and other primates’ species such as the Golden Monkeys. The Park is located in northern Rwanda in Kinigi, Musanze which is about a 2 hours’ drive from Kigali. Arrive at the lodge, check in and have lunch. Spend the day relaxing and enjoying the lodge facilities. Dinner and overnight at the Lodge.
Day Five: Gorilla Trekking at the Volcanoes National Park
After a hearty morning breakfast, get a unique opportunity to take part in a Gorilla Trekking activity. Searching for the gorillas may take two to five hours depending on where they were last spotted the previous day. Once they have been spotted, you will be given one hour to take amazing photos of these magnificent primates. Enjoy a community walk to ‘Red Rock’, a local initiative that improves community livelihood through Environmental Conservation, Arts & Culture, Education, and Community Health & Security. Dinner and overnight at the Lodge.
Day Six: Volcanoes National Park – Nyungwe National Park
After a morning breakfast, drive to the Nyungwe Forest National Park. The forest is popular for its rich biodiversity which includes a small population of chimpanzees and other primate species such as the L’Hoest’s monkeys, Ruwenzori Colobus monkeys, Red tailed monkeys and vervet monkeys endemic to the Albertine Rift. On arrival, get transferred to your Hotel, check in and have lunch. Spend the rest of the day relaxing and enjoying the hotel facilities. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.
Day Seven: Chimpanzee Trekking at the Nyungwe National Park
Early morning breakfast and get a unique opportunity to take part in a Chimpanzee Trekking Activity. Your ranger guide will lead you to either the Uwinka trail head or The Cyamudongo sector for the start of the chimp trekking experience. Return to the hotel for lunch and relaxation. Engage in a Canopy walk experience. Dinner and overnight at your Hotel.
Day Eight: Bye Rwanda
Today after a morning breakfast, visit the Ethnographic Museum of Rwanda in Huye and learn about the Rwandese Culture. Transfer to the airport for your flight back home.
