Maasai Mara National Reserve is an area of preserved savannah wilderness in southwestern Kenya, along the Tanzanian border. Its animals include lions, cheetahs, elephants, zebras, and hippos. Wildebeests traverse its plains during their annual migration. The landscape has grassy plains and rolling hills.

Day 1: Arrive in Nairobi and catch a local flight to Maasai Mara.
Day 2: Maasai Mara.

ITINERARY
Day One: Arrival and Flight to Maasai Mara
Arrive at the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport in Nairobi, where our representative will be waiting to receive you. After a short brief, connect to your local flight to the Maasai Mara. On arrival, transfer to your hotel for check-in with an en-route game drive. Spend the rest of the evening relaxing and enjoying the hotel facilities. Dinner and overnight at your camp.
Day Two & Three: Full day at the Maasai Mara National Reserve
Today we will spend the day on a full-day game drive looking for the Big 5 and other rare wildlife species not previously seen. We will head to the Mara River for a Walking tour of the river to see the hippo and crocodile families as well as the migration routes. Picnic lunch will be served at the river or at the picnic spots with great views of the plains. Take time at the riverfront for a chance to witness the Wildebeest Migration. Head back to the camp while making stops to view animals not previously seen. Spend the evening relaxing and later enjoy a Bush Dinner / Sundowner.
Day Four: A Hot Air Balloon Safari & Maasai Cultural Tour
Begin this day with an optional Hot Air Balloon ride over the Mara River and get a rare chance to see the Wildebeest Migration from the skies. Later, head back to the river to see the animals cross or relax in your lodge. Evening, take part in a Maasai Cultural Tour and learn about the Community’s Way of Life. Dinner and overnight at your camp.
For those looking for an adventure, you can have an overnight at the Maasai Boma.
Day Five: Maasai Mara to Nairobi
Enjoy the morning on a game-viewing drive or relax at the camp. Later, transfer to the airstrip for a local flight to Nairobi. Connect to your flight back home or continue with your safari.
