DETAILED ITINERARY
Day 1: Malindi to Maasai Mara.
Fly to Maasai Mara Game Reserve at 8:30 a.m. from Malindi and arrive by 10:30 a.m. Transfer to your Camp in Siana Conservancy. Upon arrival, check in followed by lunch.
Afternoon Game Drive followed by a Sundowner. Head back to Camp for Dinner followed by a Night Game Drive searching for the lions and nocturnal animals. Return to camp for overnight.
Day 2: Maasai Mara Full Day & Cultural Experience.
Today we will spend the day on a full-day game drive looking for the Big 5 and other rare wildlife species not previously seen. We will head to the Mara River for a Walking tour of the river to see the hippo and crocodile families as well as the migration routes. Picnic lunch will be served at the river or at the picnic spots with great views of the plains. Take time at the riverfront for a chance to witness the Wildebeest Migration.
Continue with game drive followed by a Maasai Cultural Tour and learn about the Community’s Way of Life. Spend the evening relaxing and later enjoy a Bush Dinner.
Day 3: A Hot Air Balloon Safari & Flight Back to Malindi
Begin this day with a Hot Air Balloon ride over the Mara River and get a rare chance to see the Wildebeest Migration from the skies. Have a Bush Champagne Breakfast followed by an enroute Game Drive to the airstrip for your local flight back to Malindi at 11:30 Am. Arrive Malindi at 13:45 and transfer back to you beach resort / resindece.
